To perform at your best, proper preparation is essential. Over the years, many female Vasaloppet skiers have used our hotel to gear up before the race, as everything is so convenient: your race bib is handed out at check-in, and in the evening, a carbohydrate-rich pre-race buffet awaits.

To perform at your best, it is important to prepare well. Over the years, many female cross-country skiers have prepared for the race with us because everything runs so smoothly; you receive your race number when you check in, and in the evening there is a large pasta buffet to fuel you up. Early breakfast buffet, then it's easy to hop on the bus to the start in Oxberg, which leaves right outside the hotel. After the race, there is a transfer back to Tällberg and us at Dalecarlia. Then relax in our expanded and recently renovated spa, let the hot tub massage your tired legs, and unwind in our hot springs and dry or steam sauna after the race.
 
Options you can pre-book with your reservation:
 
You can pre-book number bib collection for SEK 300/person. Please provide us with your Vasa ID number and the first and last names of all persons in your booking well in advance, no later than January 20, and you can collect your number bib from us at check-in (we also need this information from those of you who have already pre-booked number bib collection). We kindly ask you to order your race number collection by emailing info@dalecarlia.se
 
We offer transportation to the start in Oxberg and back to the hotel after the race. This must be pre-booked and costs SEK 650/person. There are two times to choose from when you book: transportation at 6:45 a.m. or transportation at 8:00 a.m. from the hotel.
 
It is also possible to pre-book waxing, which is handled by the Leksand Ski Club. They wax the skis for us at Dalecarlia. Pre-book waxing by contacting us by phone at 0247-89100 or by email at info@dalecarlia.se.
 
Price for ski waxing:
 
Waxing is performed by experienced skiers with extensive experience in waxing, and all wax is completely fluorine-free.
– Waxing for grip and glide: SEK 700
– Waxing for glide only: SEK 400
– Waxing for grip only: SEK 400
– Waxing of skin skis SEK 550 (glide waxing, cleaning, and impregnation of the grip zone for better glide and grip).
– Structure with tools adapted for the current season SEK 100
 
All options include cleaning.
 
– Payment is made on site when the skis are handed in. Payment can be made by Swish or cash.
– Skis must be handed in at Dalecarlia on Friday, February 21, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
– Finished skis must be returned by 11:00 p.m. the evening before the race.
