Holiday village | Cottages for self catering in the small village Fryksås, highly situated, with a fantastic view over lakes and mountains in the surroundings and the beautiful nature just outside your door. Close to activities, walking trails, ski tracks, alpine pists and restaurants.

Fryksås Fäbodstugor consists of 10 buildings surrounded by a typical Dalecarlian fence and was traditionally called Finngården. Finngården was the first permanent resident in this village and several buildings are from the 1800s.

The cottage, Loftet, Krogen, Bastustugan, Bondstugan and Gaveln are cottages that can be rented for self-catering. Maklinsstugan has 2 apartments with separate entrances. Most cottages have a kitchen area and toilet. 3 small cabins for rent with no WC, shower, water or sink. The shower room is located in the basement of Bondstugan. There are 4 showers, toilet, dressing room and sauna. Please respect openinghours for sauna and shower for everyone's well-being. Sauna times divided by 1 hour each for women/men/mix, every day.

In the village you also find Fryksås Hotel and Smidgården with restaurant and café. In Fryksås there are ski tracks with access to Orsa Grönklitt big system for cross country skiing and the Walking path Siljansleden also passes through the village. Orsa Grönklitt also has a small grocery shop, ski shop and ski rental and alpine pists. Fryksås is situated 2 km from Orsa Grönklitt and 13 km from Orsa centre and the Siljan area with more activities both summertime and wintertime.
